Calling all families, friends, and neighbours of Ipoh!
The Salvation Army Ipoh are inviting the public to be a part of their Charity Bazaar at the Children’s Home along Kampar Road, on 20 September, from 9am to 1pm.
The aim is to raise RM200,000 to keep four of the Salvation Army’s service centres running: the Children’s Home, Boys’ Home, Nursing Home, and Community Service Centre.
Visitors can look forward to a day packed with activities, such as fun games and family-friendly activities, thrift shop bargains, delicious food and drinks, live performances and much more.
Every ringgit will go directly into education, medical care, facility maintenance, and daily needs such as water, electricity, and gas.
The event opens the doors for Ipoh citizens to discover what happens inside the Salvation Army homes, meet the people it serves, and share in a day of fun and giving.
The Salvation Army in Malaysia has been in the business of changing lives since 1938; serving the underprivileged community without discrimination.
Here in Ipoh, it has stood strong for over 60 years, helping those who need it most through a wide network of social services.
Together, they care for about 50 children, 35 elderly residents, and 10 underprivileged families in the city.
