TELUK INTAN: Six houses and three motorcycles were destroyed in a fire that broke out at midnight along Jalan Mak Intan, Kampung Terengganu, here.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Acting Assistant Director of Operations, Shazlean Mohd Hanafiah, said the incident occurred around 12:40 a.m., and the operation ended at 3:05 a.m.
“Upon arrival at the scene, the fire was already raging, but no injuries were reported.
“House No. 903 was 95 percent destroyed, while House No. 904 and an RG Sport motorcycle were also 95 percent gutted.
“House No. 905 was 95 percent destroyed along with a SYM motorcycle, House No. 906 burned 95 percent, House No. 907 was 95 percent destroyed, and House No. 908 was also 95 percent destroyed along with an SM Sport motorcycle,” he said here today.
A total of 15 firefighters from the Teluk Intan and Hutan Melintang Fire and Rescue Stations, together with the Teluk Intan Volunteer Fire Brigade (PBS) and Batu 12 team, were involved in extinguishing the blaze
