IPOH, Perak – Kinder Labz celebrated the transition of its Class of 2025 in a poignant ceremony themed “The Midas Touch,” honouring 69 graduating children from its three branches – Jalan Woodward, Bandar Baru Sri Klebang (BBSK) and Seri Kembangan (SK).
The event, held on 15th November 2025, was marked by a blend of student performance and emotional farewells, anchored by a moving speech from Director of Schools, Ms. Evelyn Chen.
The ceremony commenced with a traditional processional march led by Ms. Evelyn, followed by the national anthem, Negaraku and school songs, establishing a proud and commemorative atmosphere.
The emotional highlight was Ms. Evelyn’s address, where she confessed the difficulty of bidding farewell to the children she adores.
“Of all the speeches I deliver throughout the year, this is the one I detest the most. It is always hard to say goodbye,” she began.
Ms. Evelyn emphasised the school’s core commitment to instilling The Power of Belief, recounting the constant encouragement she offered to every student.
“The one thing I always tell each and every one of them is this: ‘You are so much cleverer than you think and braver than you feel.'”
She issued a powerful call to action for parents, urging them to prioritise time. “Let us never forget that our children are the most important blessing. Let us try to allocate time and truly hear them out and encourage them.” Her final message to the graduates was simple yet profound: “You are capable of more than you know.”
Following the Director’s words, six students shared personal reflections on their school journeys, delivering speeches in three languages: English (Lakshman and Tharushan from BBSK), Bahasa Melayu (Tun Alana and Aiman from Jalan Woodward) and Mandarin (Hannah Yeong and Tham Yu Hin from Jalan Woodward).
The programme continued with dynamic student showcases:
- Dance Performances: High-energy routines included Sinaran (Amber Class), Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now (Bluebell Class) and Wham!’s Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go (BBSK).
- Storytelling: A student from SK presented a captivating rendition of The Turtle and the Rabbit.
The ceremony culminated in the formal certificate presentation. In a deeply personal moment that captured the warmth of the school, Ms. Evelyn was observed meticulously perfecting each child’s attire and offering a warm, affirming hug before they took the stage. Each graduate proudly stated their ambition before receiving their certificate from the branch Principals; Mrs. Toh (Jalan Woodward), Ms. Rachel (BBSK) and Ms. Erica (SK) alongside their class teachers.
The Kinder Labz graduation celebrated the achievements of the Class of 2025, equipping them with confidence as they embark on their “exciting life adventures.”
