HILIR PERAK: In an effort to provide support to flood victims, the Police Family Association (PERKEP) of Hilir Perak District Police Headquarters (IPD) stepped forward to assist those affected.

It is not only police personnel who serve on the front lines in helping flood victims, police family members also play an important role in easing the burden of those impacted by the disaster.
The contributions and moral support provided help uplift the spirits of flood victims as they endure this hardship.
Chairman of PERKEP IPD Hilir Perak, Wan Shamsuria Wan Idris, together with PERKEP members, conducted a welfare visit to the Temporary Evacuation Centre (PPS) at IPD Hilir Perak to reach out to the victims sheltered there.

During the visit, PERKEP distributed contributions such as bread and drinking water to those affected by the floods.
In addition, PERKEP members interacted with the flood victims, especially groups in greater need, such as senior citizens, women, and children.
The visit aimed not only to provide physical aid but also to offer emotional support to victims facing difficulties caused by this natural disaster.
This commitment is part of the continuous efforts by PERKEP and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) of IPD Hilir Perak to ensure the welfare of flood victims is well taken care of throughout their stay at the evacuation centre.
