One Pint of Blood Saves Three Lives — KPJ Ipoh Holds Blood Donation Campaign

IPOH — KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital continued its commitment to saving lives by organising its 2026 Blood Donation Campaign, held on 26 Jan 2026 (Monday) at the hospital’s main lobby.
The programme, which ran from 9am to 4pm, encouraged members of the public to come forward and donate blood in support of the continuous need for blood supply at hospitals nationwide.
The campaign was organised in recognition that the demand for blood never stops, particularly for emergency cases, surgical patients, and those undergoing long-term treatment such as cancer and thalassaemia patients.
“One pint of blood can save up to three lives, and every donor brings renewed hope to those in need,” according to a statement issued in conjunction with the campaign.
Carrying the theme Care for Life, the initiative also offered complimentary gifts to donors while stocks lasted as a token of appreciation for their contribution.
Members of the public who are healthy and eligible are encouraged to donate blood and continue supporting future campaigns to help ensure a sufficient blood supply.
