IPOH: The Lunar New Year celebration at WEIL Hotel here was held in a lively atmosphere today, featuring an acrobatic lion dance performance and traditional drum presentation.
The programme, organised in collaboration with the Perak Teng Yi Cultural & Arts Club, attracted nearly 500 guests comprising hotel patrons, in-house guests, staff members, the local community and members of the media.


The energetic lion dance performance at the hotel’s Porte Cochere captivated the audience, while the distribution of mandarin oranges was also held as a symbol of prosperity and good fortune.
The event was attended by WEIL Hotel General Manager Michael Quah, along with heads of departments, reflecting a spirit of unity and optimism as they welcomed the new year.
