KUALA KANGSAR: Visitors at the Bazar Ramadan Arena in Kuala Kangsar felt honoured when the bazaar received a visit from the royal couple.
The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, graciously consented to visit the bazaar, accompanied by the Raja Permaisuri of Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim.
Their Royal Highnesses spent about 20 minutes observing the atmosphere at the bazaar, which has become a focal point for local residents throughout the month of Ramadan.
During the visit, Their Royal Highnesses also purchased a variety of dishes for breaking fast, including traditional kuih.
In addition, the royal couple took time to mingle with the traders and visitors present.
Their presence enlivened the bazaar as visitors did not miss the opportunity to greet and take photographs with them.
The visit reflected Their Royal Highnesses’ concern for the people’s economic activities as well as the royal institution’s continued support for small and medium traders, particularly during the month of Ramadan.
