MYJalan 2.0 app simplifies reporting of damaged roads

By: Zaki Salleh

IPOH: The public now has an easier and faster channel to report road damage through the MYJalan 2.0 digital application.

The initiative is seen as a proactive step to strengthen the public complaints delivery system related to road infrastructure.

Through the application, users can channel information on damaged roads directly to the relevant authorities.

This approach also speeds up follow-up action by the agencies involved.

Notably, the system is integrated with the PBTCare application to ensure that complaints involving municipal roads are handled more efficiently.

The ‘No Wrong Door’ concept introduced allows every complaint to be directed to the appropriate agency without going through complicated processes.

This, in turn, reduces bureaucratic hurdles and improves the efficiency of complaint management.

At the same time, the use of this platform reflects the active role of the community in assisting the authorities.

The public is encouraged to be more alert and responsible by reporting any damage that could pose a risk to road users.

This effort shows that cooperation between the people and the government can enhance safety levels as well as the quality of the nation’s infrastructure.
