IPOH: A road user who is also an Ipoh resident has urged the relevant authorities to repair a road in Jelapang FTZ that frequently develops potholes despite having been resurfaced.
The individual, identified only as Wan, claimed that repair or patching work on the severely damaged road along Jalan Industri 1 should be carried out more thoroughly.

He said this would ensure the road surface lasts longer, rather than deteriorating again after just a month.
“This road is frequently used by heavy vehicles. The pothole issue here has happened many times and it can damage public vehicles.
“The potholes are deep and dangerous, especially for motorcyclists.

“I urge the responsible authorities to resolve this pothole problem more effectively, instead of carrying out temporary patching only for the road to become damaged again a month later,” he told Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic.
Wan added that the road is located near Ipoh Kuew Teow @ Noodles.
