IPOH: WD Squash Club achieved a proud milestone after securing four top positions in the MSSPK 2026 Squash Championship for the Boys Under-12 (BU12) category.
The tournament was held at the Perak Squash Stadium here.
The achievement reflects the club’s capability in nurturing young squash talents with strong potential at the state level.
Representing SJKC Kg Tawas, Thaarun a/l Vasanthan emerged champion after delivering an impressive performance throughout the tournament.
The runner-up title went to Varshan a/l Francis James from SJKT Klebang Chemor, who displayed strong fighting spirit and consistent performances on court.
Third place was secured by Chin Ean Lok from SJKC Sam Chai, who impressed with his disciplined and tactical style of play.
Meanwhile, Amir Mursyid from Sekolah Rendah Imtiyaz, Ipoh completed WD Squash Club’s dominance after finishing fourth in the championship.
All players demonstrated high levels of confidence, mental resilience and sportsmanship despite facing stiff competition from other challengers.
The achievement also reflected the players’ hard work, discipline and deep passion for the sport.
WD Squash Club also expressed appreciation to its coaching team for their continuous guidance, patience and sacrifices in developing high-performing young athletes.
The club also extended its gratitude to parents and supporters for their unwavering support throughout the tournament.
