IPOH: The Paediatric Medical Ward at the Women and Children Complex (KWKK), Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (HRPB), received a visit from representatives of Imperial International School, who came to hand over a donation for the ward’s Calm Room initiative.
During the programme, the school contributed 14 units of tangle sensory tools to help create a more conducive and child-friendly environment for paediatric patients.

A total of seven representatives, comprising four teachers and three students, attended the visit and were warmly received by the paediatric nursing staff.
The programme also received full support from Paediatric Department head Dr Chew Eng Lai, along with supervisors and the paediatric nursing leadership team.
HRPB expressed its appreciation to the school for its concern and contribution, saying the initiative plays an important role in improving the treatment environment by making it more cheerful, comfortable and supportive of the emotional well-being of child patients.
The hospital added that such strategic collaboration between the community and healthcare institutions should be continued for mutual benefit.
