IPOH: Lorong Seni @ Lorong Panglima came alive today as it played host to the City Day @ Lorong Seni 2026 programme in conjunction with the 38th Anniversary of Ipoh City, highlighting local arts, culture and heritage as its main attraction.
The programme, organised by the Ipoh City Council (MBI) in collaboration with the National Department for Culture and Arts (JKKN) Perak and the Perak Information Department, featured a variety of engaging activities throughout the day.

Among the highlights were handicraft sales, exhibitions by the Perak Information Department, MBI mobile counter services, as well as traditional cultural performances by Gema Warisan Budaya MBI and JKKN Perak.
The programme also provided visitors with the opportunity to experience and appreciate the arts and cultural heritage that form part of Ipoh’s identity, while further energising the creative community atmosphere at Lorong Seni.
MBI hopes such initiatives will continue to strengthen public appreciation for local arts and heritage, in line with efforts to position Ipoh as a cultured, creative and liveable city.
