Five New Healthcare Facilities Handed Over to Health Ministry in Perak

IPOH: Communities across five districts in Perak are set to benefit from improved healthcare services following the official handover of five newly rebuilt healthcare facilities to the Ministry of Health (MOH).

The projects involved the reconstruction of existing facilities under a demolition-and-rebuild concept aimed at enhancing public healthcare infrastructure and service delivery.

The facilities are Klinik Desa Kuak Luar in Hulu Perak, Klinik Desa Sungai Protan in Kerian, Klinik Kesihatan Ibu dan Anak Pengkalan Pegoh in Kinta, Klinik Desa Chegar Galah in Kuala Kangsar, and Klinik Desa Pasir Panjang Laut in Manjung.

The handover ceremony was officiated by Ts. Mohd Azizi Ibrahim, Senior Deputy Director of the Engineering Services Division.

He formally handed over the facilities, together with Perak State Health Department representative Velan Supramaniam, to the respective district health officers.

The projects were undertaken to strengthen public healthcare facilities while providing greater comfort and convenience for residents seeking medical treatment.

The initiative also reflects the Health Ministry’s ongoing commitment to improving the quality of healthcare services nationwide.

The newly completed facilities are expected to benefit local communities by providing better access to healthcare services and improved treatment environments.

Those involved in the implementation of the projects expressed hope that continued cooperation and commitment from all stakeholders would help ensure the well-being of the people of Perak remains safeguarded.
