D’Aman Residensi abandoned project: Key handover expected soon

By Aida Aziz

IPOH: The long-delayed D’Aman Residensi housing project has reached its final stage, with the vacant possession process now completed, said Perak Housing and Local Government Exco Sandrea Ng.

She said the state government understood the concerns and hopes of purchasers who have been waiting for years for updates on the abandoned project.

According to her, the authorities are currently focusing on administrative matters and preparations for the key handover process, after which buyers will be contacted once all procedures are finalised.

“In recent days, I have received increasing enquiries and heartfelt feedback from D’Aman Residensi buyers regarding the latest developments of this project. I understand the concerns and hopes of all those who have waited so long.

“Since I began handling this issue in 2023, various efforts have been undertaken to ensure this long-abandoned project can finally be completed.

“Alhamdulillah, I have now received the latest update from the Perak Housing and Property Board (LPHP) that the final process related to vacant possession has been completed,” she said.

Sandrea said the journey to revive the project had not been easy and was filled with challenges, adding that although not all developments could be disclosed, continuous follow-up actions had been carried out until today.

She added that the project is now in its final phase, with the next step being the handing over of keys to purchasers.

“Thank you for the patience, cooperation and trust given throughout this period. Appreciation also goes to all parties involved in reviving this project until it reached this stage.

“After years of waiting, buyers are now closer than ever to receiving their house keys and beginning a new chapter in homes they have long anticipated,” she said.
