IPOH: Residents have continued to voice concerns over the deteriorating condition of the stretch of road between Jalan Lahat and Falim, particularly in front of ACS Ipoh.
A resident claimed that the road is riddled with uneven patches and sections that urgently require attention from the relevant authorities.
He also urged the authorities to carry out proper resurfacing works using high-quality materials, arguing that repeated patchwork repairs tend to deteriorate again within a short period.
Complaints about the road’s condition have frequently surfaced, with many motorists claiming that the uneven surface has damaged vehicles travelling along the route daily.
“This road has not been properly maintained for a long time. We hope the authorities will carry out quality resurfacing works that meet the required standards for the sake of Ipoh’s image as a city,” he said.
