MB Inc. Launches Cura Batik Boutique and Amanjaya Travels to Boost Perak’s Economy and Heritage

IPOH – Menteri Besar Incorporated (MB Inc.) continues to strengthen its role in Perak’s economic development through the launch of the Cura Batik Boutique and Amanjaya Travels Sdn. Bhd. at Basco Avenue @ Kepayang.

The launch ceremony was officiated by the Menteri Besar of Perak, Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad, together with the Director-General of Kraftangan Malaysia, Abdul Halim Ali, and MB Inc. Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Anuar Zainal Abidin.

The introduction of these two initiatives, undertaken through MB Inc.’s wholly owned subsidiaries, marks a strategic step towards strengthening the state’s economy while preserving its cultural heritage.

Cura Batik was introduced as a premium brand featuring Perak Batik with the Bunga Kelumpang motif as the state’s official identity.

The establishment of the Cura Batik Boutique is also expected to create sustainable economic opportunities for local handicraft industry players.

During the same event, Amanjaya Travels was officially launched as a Destination Management Company (DMC) to promote Perak’s exclusive tourism products.

The company will focus on showcasing the state’s natural attractions, cultural heritage, and unique tourism experiences.

The event also featured the exchange of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between MB Inc. and Kraftangan Malaysia to strengthen collaboration in the development of the handicraft industry.

Saarani later toured the Cura Batik workshop to observe the Perak Batik production process as well as its batik wastewater treatment system.

The initiative reflects MB Inc.’s commitment to balancing economic development with the preservation of Perak’s arts, culture, and heritage.
