IPOH: The practice of foreign nationals riding motorcycles or driving vehicles without valid licences should not be taken lightly.
As part of its enforcement efforts, the Perak Road Transport Department (JPJ) conducted an operation to ensure compliance with road traffic laws.
The Perak JPJ Enforcement Division said that during the operation around Taman Botani, eight motorcycles were stopped and inspected.
Checks revealed that the riders were foreign nationals who had committed offences, including driving without a valid licence, failing to possess valid road tax and vehicle registration documents, and several other traffic violations.
All eight motorcycles were seized and taken to the JPJ Ipoh Vehicle Impound Depot for further action.
JPJ Perak will continue to intensify enforcement operations throughout the state to ensure that all road users comply with the law.
