By Zaki Salleh

IPOH – Installation of speed humps along the KLEMERU Main Road in Meru Perdana 2 is scheduled to begin next week to enhance road safety for motorists and pedestrians.

Manjoi State Assemblyman, Hafez Sabri, said the project has finally been realised, after being a long-standing request from residents and road users in the area.

He said the speed humps are expected to help reduce vehicle speeds along the route.

According to him, the measure will improve safety, particularly for children, residents and members of the public who use the road daily.

Hafez expressed his appreciation to the Meru Perdana 2 Residents’ Association, the local community, Ipoh City Council (MBI) and MK Land for their cooperation and commitment throughout the process.

He said the successful implementation of the project reflects the positive outcome of close collaboration between the community and the relevant agencies.

He added that the voices and concerns of the people have been translated into concrete action for the benefit of public safety and convenience.

Hafez also thanked residents for their continued trust and support.

He reaffirmed his commitment to continue addressing issues affecting the people of Manjoi to the best of his ability.
