TIC Strengthens Future Talent, Bridges Education and Industry Gap

By Zaki MS

IPOH – TAJ International College (TIC) continues to strengthen its commitment to developing a young generation prepared to navigate changes in education, technology, and the employment landscape.

The effort was further strengthened through the TIC Future-Ready Talent Showcase 2026, themed “Industry-Ready Future Talents: Education Meets Industry.”

Held at the TAJ International College campus here, the programme brought together educational institutions, industry partners, employers, technology providers and strategic organisations.

TIC Executive Chairman Tina Tajuddin said the platform provided participants with exposure to education and career opportunities, technology, and future skills.

She said the Education Meets Industry concept served as a key pillar in efforts to bridge the gap between education and the actual requirements of the working world.

“Participants also had the opportunity to understand the importance of technical and soft skills, knowledge and digital competencies in building their careers.

“The programme focused on areas such as career awareness, education pathways, artificial intelligence (AI), technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and future mobility,” she said.

The event was earlier attended and officiated by Dr Suffiya Hany Mohd Amin, who is also Chairperson of Dewanita, Malay Chamber of Commerce Malaysia.

The highlight of the programme was the launch of the TIC Future-Ready Talent Initiative, comprising the Young Business Apprentice, TIC Young Business Apprentice and Young Childcare Entrepreneur programmes.

Other initiatives included the Industry Competency Initiative and Future-Ready Talent Ecosystem, aimed at expanding talent development opportunities for the younger generation.

The event also featured the signing of strategic collaborations and the presentation of Letters of Intent (LOIs) with industry, corporate, technology and strategic education partners.

In addition, the Industry Insights session and the presentation of free laptops to students reflected TIC’s commitment to empowering young talent and supporting greater access to education within the community.
