IPOH – Residents’ complaints in the Falim Zone regarding faded road markings along Jalan Sungai Pari, Buntong, have received immediate attention from the relevant authorities.
MBI Councillor Lawrence Palanisamy said the unclear road markings could pose risks to road users.

He said the situation was particularly concerning at night and during rainy weather.
“Following the complaints, the matter was referred to the Public Works Department of the Ipoh City Council (MBI) for further action.
“Repainting of the road markings and related works were carried out in stages and were fully completed on August 11.
“The action is important to improve visibility for road users and reduce the risk of accidents,” he said.

Meanwhile, complaints were also received regarding clogged drains and unpleasant odours caused by food waste, oil and rubbish in Taman Idris.
The residents’ complaints were subsequently referred to MBI’s Public Works Department and PEISB for follow-up action.
As a result, cleaning works at the affected area were completed on August 22.
Lawrence also expressed his appreciation to MBI and Puncak Emas Infra Sdn Bhd for taking action to ensure that the Falim Zone remains clean, safe and comfortable for residents.
