BATU GAJAH – Batu Gajah District Council (MDBG) secured second place among district-category Local Authorities (PBT) under the Local Authority Star Rating System (SPB-PBT), retaining its five-star recognition.
The achievement was announced at a ceremony held at Bertam Resort, Penang, last Saturday.
A total of 154 local authorities nationwide were assessed under the SPB-PBT.
MDBG President Mohamad Razif Ramli, received the recognition together with MDBG Secretary, Muazatul Adawiyah Muhammad.
Also present were MDBG councillors and heads of departments.
The achievement reflects MDBG’s commitment to strengthening governance and improving the quality of service delivery to the community.
It also demonstrates how the slogan “MDBG Membangun Bersama Komuniti” (MDBG Developing Together with the Community) is being translated into action through the involvement and cooperation of the local community.
However, the five-star recognition does not mean that MDBG’s services have reached perfection.
MDBG will continue to address complaints, rectify weaknesses and improve the quality of services provided to the community.
The achievement will also catalyze all MDBG personnel to continue working hard and providing the best possible services to the community.
