IPOH, 15 Sept – Ipoh Parade is welcoming the Mid- Autumn Festival with its “Lanterns Aglow” celebration, taking place on 19 and 20 September 2026, from 12pm to 8pm.
The two day celebration invites families and the community to enjoy a range of festive activities, including a Mini Lantern Decorating Workshop, Snow Skin Mooncake Baking Workshop and a Lantern Riddle Challenge.
Visitors can get creative by decorating their own mini lanterns, learn the art of making snow skin mooncakes, and test their knowledge with festive lantern riddles.
Adding to the celebrations is the Mooncake Bazaar, running from 4 to 25 September, from 10am to 10pm, offering visitors an opportunity to browse a variety of mooncakes and festive treats.
The celebration brings together traditional Mid- Autumn elements of lanterns, mooncakes and family activities, providing a festive setting for the community to gather and celebrate.
Lanterns Aglow will be held at Ipoh Parade on 19 and 20 September 2026, from 12pm to 8pm. Admission to the event is open to the public, with workshop participation subject to availability.
