IPOH – Efforts to encourage tourist arrivals in Perak are being intensified through the Perak Stay & Explore 2026 programme.

The initiative is part of the Perak state government’s efforts to further boost the domestic and international tourism sectors in the state.
Under the initiative, a total of 2,000 vouchers worth RM40 each are being offered as incentives to encourage tourists to extend their stays and enjoy longer visits.
Tourists are required to stay for a minimum of two days and one night, allowing them more time to explore Perak’s unique attractions.
Applications for the incentives are open specifically to travel agencies, hotel operators, tourism product operators and relevant non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
As the available funding is limited, each application will be carefully evaluated based on compliance with the stipulated criteria and strict requirements.
All interested industry players are encouraged to submit their applications promptly before the official closing date of 15 November 2026.
Application forms and comprehensive guidelines can be downloaded directly from the official Tourism Perak website or accessed by scanning the QR code on the promotional poster.
This progressive initiative is expected to support the local tourism ecosystem while reinforcing Perak’s position as a destination worth exploring for a longer stay.
