IPOH, March 17 – The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, visited the Ramadan Bazaar at Perak Stadium here.
His Majesty arrived at 4.20 pm, accompanied by Perak Menteri Besar, and Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.
Also present were the President of the Senate, General (Rtd) Tan Sri Mohd. Zahidi Zainuddin; Perak State Secretary, Datuk Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim; Perak State Legal Advisor, Datuk Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin; Deputy Speaker of the Perak State Assembly, Jenny Choy Tsi Jen; and Chairman of the Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPk), Tan Sri Mohd. Annuar Zaini.
Joining them were the Mayor of Ipoh, Datuk Rumaizi Baharin, along with heads of state departments.
During the visit, His Majesty took time to tour the various stalls at the bustling bazaar, where many were purchasing food for breaking fast.
His presence reflected his concern for small traders and the vibrant Ramadan atmosphere among the people of the state.
