More affordable homes built for people

By Zaki Salleh

BATU GAJAH: The Perak state government’s initiative to provide affordable housing for low-income target groups is being realized through the Taman Tasik Ardea housing project in Mukim Sungai Terap here.

The project aims to offer more quality and affordable housing options for the people.

Taman Tasik Ardea is developed by Majuperak Holdings Berhad, a subsidiary of the Perak State Development Corporation (PKNPk).

It offers 601 housing units, including Rumah Perakku I, II, and III categories as well as Open Units, with a gross development value of RM141 million.

Prices start from as low as RM90,000 for Rumah Perakku I and go up to RM250,000 for Rumah Perakku III, taking into account the actual financial capacity of the people, especially those in the B40 and M40 income groups.

Special incentives for Bumiputera buyers include a 5% discount and exemption from deposit payments.

This is aimed at helping more young people and new families afford their first home.

Taman Tasik Ardea is located near attractions such as Kellie’s Castle, the Herbal Garden, Escape Ipoh, and Silverlakes Village Outlet, adding value to the project and surrounding area.

It is also surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and is designed with the vision of building a sustainable community focused on quality of life.

Earlier, the official launch and handover of house keys was officiated by the Chief Minister of Perak, Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad.

In his speech, he said this housing project reflects the state government’s strong commitment through Majuperak Holdings Berhad.

“Taman Tasik Ardea is not just a place to live, but a space to build families, raise children, and grow old in peace.
