IPOH — The Karnival Mesra Anak Muda (KAMU) 2025 is set to return on September 20 and 21 at Stadium Indera Mulia under the theme “Celebrating Young Talents of Perak.”
Now in its fourth edition, the carnival is organised by the Perak State Government in collaboration with People of Remarkable Talents (PORT), Perak Strategic Communications Unit (StratComm Perak), Perak Entrepreneurs Secretariat (STeP), Pusat Aspirasi Anak Perak (PASAK) and EHEYNS Perak. The event is expected to serve as a key platform to highlight the creativity and potential of the state’s youth.
Perak Menteri Besar’s Political Secretary, Mohamad Hamidi Baharuddin, said the state government is confident KAMU 2025 will nurture a competitive, patriotic and progressive generation in line with the Perak Sejahtera 2030 aspirations.
“Among the highlights are the Kayuhan and Larian Perak Sejahtera 2030, AIM TVET with the Menteri Besar, Pekan Pop-Up @ KAMU, Jom Healing Anak Muda, as well as futsal, basketball, kabaddi, skateboarding, BMX competitions and e-sports tournaments such as Mobile Legends, PUBG and E-Football,” he told reporters during the press conference at the Perak State Secretariat Building today.
Also present was PORT Perak General Manager, Nur Hanim Dato’ Mohamed Khairuddin.
Hamidi added that youths will also have the opportunity to showcase their talents through a Photography Contest, Breakdance Competition, Drum Battle and Traditional Costume Showcase.
“The closing ceremony will be officiated by the Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad, followed by the KAMU 2025 Concert on the night of September 21 featuring Bunkface, Floor 88, I Am Neeta and local acts such as Tetvangvdara, Sethpoll and Riddim Bois.
“KAMU 2025 is expected to be a meeting point for youths from all walks of life, strengthening the spirit of unity while positioning them as the driving force of the state’s development,” he said.
