IPOH: A total of 14 houses were reported damaged following continuous heavy rain and a storm that hit the Klebang Prima area this evening.
A spokesperson from the District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) of the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) in Kinta said the storm occurred at around 4:45 PM.
According to the spokesperson, the affected homes were located in Laluan Klebang Prima 9 (7 houses), Klebang Prima 10 (4 houses) and Klebang Prima 11 (3 houses).
“APM Kinta received a call from a team officer regarding the storm incident in Klebang Prima.
“As a result, an officer and two personnel were deployed to the scene. Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) also carried out a power cut to allow the removal of a wedding tent,” the spokesperson added.
