IPOH — Traditional dishes such as Rendang Tok Perak, Daging Tetel Gulai Kawah, Sup Kambing Mamak and Patin Tempoyak Sungai Perak are among the main highlights of the 2026 Ramadan buffet at Impiana Hotel Ipoh.

The iftar buffet, themed “Dari Teratak Opah: Iftar Warisan Enak Perak”, which evokes a sense of nostalgia, runs from February 20 to March 18, 2026.

Executive Chef Mohd Nizam Abdul Rahim said the buffet emphasises traditional dishes inspired by flavours of the past.

“We present heritage cuisine reminiscent of dishes prepared by our grandmothers in the village, including a barbecue station, gulai kawah, freshly prepared cucur udang (prawn fritters), appetiser and dessert counters, a chocolate fountain, hot and cold beverages, as well as a special children’s corner.

“We also feature four different menu rotations with more than 60 dishes daily, ensuring a wide variety of selections for guests.

“In addition to the main menu, roasted lamb and satay are offered separately, providing greater variety while supporting local vendors,” he told Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic.

The buffet is held at the Perak Ballroom from 6:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m., with a capacity of up to 350 guests daily.

Prices are set at RM78+ for adults, RM68+ for senior citizens and RM58+ for children, while children below four dine for free.
