Proposed Upgrade for Jalan Perajurit Junction in Taman Ipoh Timur

IPOH, Feb 26 — The Ipoh City Council (MBI) recently held a briefing on proposed upgrades to the junction at Jalan Perajurit and Jalan Perajurit 6 in Taman Ipoh Timur.

The session aimed to provide local residents with detailed information on the planning and implementation of the project.

Present at the briefing were Ipoh Timur MP Howard Lee Chuan How, Canning state assemblyperson Jenny Choy Tsi Jen, and MBI council members.

During the session, officials explained the proposed infrastructure improvements at the junction, identified as a key location requiring urgent attention to improve traffic flow and road user safety.

The MBI Public Works Department presented the proposed design and scope of work, highlighting plans to enhance traffic systems, improve road safety features, and implement mitigation measures to reduce congestion, particularly during peak hours.

Local residents were also given the opportunity to share feedback, suggestions, and questions to ensure the project addresses community needs comprehensively.
