TANJUNG RAMBUTAN: More than 2,000 visitors thronged the Satellite Programme: Kita MADANI Carnival X MADANI Rakyat Programme (PMR) 2.0, held at the Sultan Azlan Shah Ministry of Health Training Institute (ILKKM SAS) today.

The event, officiated by the Political Secretary to the Finance Minister, Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim, attracted strong local participation as various government departments and agencies gathered on-site to offer services directly to the community.

The programme served as an early promotional platform ahead of the Perak-level MADANI Rakyat Programme, scheduled to take place on a larger scale from April 3 to 5 at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah, Meru.

With the involvement of multiple agencies, visitors were able to obtain advice, receive the latest information and settle official matters face-to-face without having to visit government offices.

Among the main attractions were free health screenings, a blood donation drive, free motorcycle engine oil changes, community activities and an outdoor movie screening.

To help ease the cost of living, the RAHMAH Sale and Agro MADANI Sale were also held, offering essential goods at significantly lower and more affordable prices.

According to the organisers, the outreach initiative not only strengthens the government’s connection with the people but also enhances public understanding of current policies and initiatives in line with the Malaysia MADANI aspiration and Perak Sejahtera 2030 vision.

Also present were Hulu Kinta assemblyman, Muhamad Arafat Varisai Mahamad; Director of the Community Communications and Development Division, Department of Information Malaysia, Muhammad Najmi Mustapha; and ILKKM SAS Director, Fakriah Mat Hashim.
