IPOH: A total of 239 members of the Malaysian Scouts Association (PPM) Perak received Stars, Medals and the King’s Scout Certificates at the 2026 Scouts Awards Presentation Ceremony held here today.
The prestigious ceremony was graced by His Royal Highness the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin.
The event also made history by being held in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Malaysian Scouts Association.
The ceremony not only honoured the award recipients but also served as a tribute to the contributions and dedication of Perak Scouts over the past century in nurturing generations that are disciplined, committed and always ready to serve the community and nation.
During the ceremony, Sultan Nazrin presented the awards to the 239 Scouts in recognition of their outstanding achievements, commitment and contributions to the organisation.
All recipients were congratulated on their accomplishments, with the recognition expected to inspire them to continue serving, lead by example and cultivate the spirit of volunteerism for the betterment of religion, race, state and country.
