Three Family Members Found Dead at Home in Bandar Baru Tambun

IPOH – Three family members were found dead inside a house in Bandar Baru Tambun, Ipoh, in an incident confirmed by the Ipoh District Police.

Ipoh District Police Chief, ACP Muhammad Najib Hamzah, said police received a report at about 9.10 p.m. on July 30 regarding three individuals who were found unconscious at the residence.

Initial investigations at the scene revealed that the victims were a 46-year-old local woman and her two daughters, aged 12 and 11.

“The three victims were found dead inside a room of the house.

“A container believed to contain the remains of burnt charcoal was also discovered inside the room,” he said in a statement on Friday.

He added that preliminary examinations by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) forensic team and forensic medical specialists found no signs of injury or foul play on the victims.

The case has been classified as a Sudden Death Report (SDR).

However, investigations are ongoing to determine the actual cause of the incident.

Post-mortem examinations were scheduled to be conducted on July 31 to assist in completing the investigation.

Police have urged the public not to speculate or circulate unverified information until the investigation is concluded.
