IPOH: Some 180 people took part in the 2026 Strata Community Education and Inspection Programme held at Dewan Taman Cempaka here today.
Ipoh City Council (MBI) Chief Whip Datuk Mazlan Abd Rahman officiated the programme, representing Ipoh Mayor Datuk Zamakhshari Hanipah.

Mazlan said programmes like this initiative were important because strata building management involves many residents and requires cooperation from all parties, including management bodies, government agencies, and the local community.
“The programme carries the theme ‘Digital Transformation of Strata Management through the Housing and Local Government Ministry’s (KPKT) e-Strata System for Strata Building Management’.
“The use of KPKT’s e-Strata system is a step towards digitalising strata management, allowing matters to be handled more systematically, monitored more easily and aligned with current requirements.

“I hope today’s programme will provide the strata community with a clearer understanding of their rights, responsibilities and procedures for managing strata buildings.
“My thanks to all agencies, speakers, facilitators and participants who attended. I hope the sharing sessions and inspections conducted will benefit the community and help us create a better-managed, comfortable and harmonious strata environment,” he said.
