IPOH: Street lights that were not functioning along Tun Abdul Razak Bridge here at around 8pm on Wednesday were promptly repaired, said Buntong Zone councillor Lawrence Palanisamy.
He said he received a complaint via WhatsApp regarding the faulty street lights along the bridge.
“I immediately brought the matter to the attention of the Ipoh City Council (MBI) Public Works Department for further action to ensure the safety and comfort of road users.

“The MBI Public Works Department acted swiftly and the repair works at the location have been completed.
“My highest appreciation and thanks go to the MBI Public Works Department and all parties directly or indirectly involved for their prompt action and cooperation,” he said in a statement on Thursday.
He added that the swift action was important in ensuring the safety of road users in Ipoh remains at its best.
