IPOH – More than 2,000 people attended the MADANI Kita (PMK) 2026 Kepayang Programme held at Dewan Greentown, Kepayang, here.
The programme was organised by the Malaysian Information Department (JAPEN) in collaboration with the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (PACU), Prime Minister’s Department, under the theme ‘Realising the Hopes of the People’.
The programme offered various direct benefits to the public through Jualan RAHMAH and Jualan Agro MADANI sales initiatives.

It also saw the distribution of RAHMAH Aid Baskets containing food items and essential goods to 100 recipients in the Kepayang State Legislative Assembly (DUN) constituency.
The programme was officiated by Perak State Executive Council member for Communications, Multimedia and NGOs, Mohd Azlan Helmi.
He was accompanied by JAPEN Director-General, Erwin Khairul Ahmad.

The key highlights of Budget 2027 and its benefits to the public were also a major focus, aimed at ensuring that the community understands the government’s initiatives and assistance programmes.
Guided by the philosophy ‘Reaching for the Sky, Rooted on the Ground’, the programme sought to explain government policies in simple language so that the public could understand, appreciate and experience their benefits.
The PMK 2026 Kepayang Programme also served as a platform to strengthen ties between the government and the people through the direct delivery of information, services and community activities.
