TAIPING: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) Taiping Branch has seized a car driven by an Indonesian construction worker.
During the operation, six summonses were also issued to three drivers and three vehicle owners.
“The car driven by the Indonesian construction worker was seized. The summonses issued to the drivers and vehicle owners must be settled in court.
“If they fail to appear in court, the seized vehicle will not be released,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, JPJ Taiping advised members of the public not to lend their vehicles to foreigners who are not eligible to drive.
Complaints involving foreigners can be submitted through the MYJPJ application and JPJ’s Public Complaints Management System (SISPAA).
