Special Counters

Following the government’s decision to relax movement restrictions on May 4, Ipoh City Council has opened up the WeServe counters at the Council building lobby to better serve ratepayers.

The counters handle matters affecting Ipohites due to the imposition of the movement control order (MCO).

Those involved in the exercise are the Valuation and Property Management Department, Town Planning Department and the One Stop Centre Unit.

To date, nearly a thousand customers have visited the WeServe counters and have their problems resolved.

The counters operate between 9am and 2pm daily.

Apart from these counters, the Council too, maintains the state’s COVID-19 Operations Room which has been functional since March 21.

The purpose-made room disseminates news and information regarding movement restrictions and Council-related matters to the public during this troubled period.

The centre operates daily between 8am and 3.30pm.

Both the counters and operations room are helmed by the Council’s Public Complaints and Corporate Unit.
