Reopening of schools will be done according to stages during the newly announced Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) which commences June 10, lasting till August 31, 2020, replacing the ongoing Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) ending June 9.
In conjunction with the matter, the Ministry of Education (MOE) will be doing a special announcement soon.
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that guidelines were finalised as preparation for the reopening of schooling sessions.
“As stated in the guidelines given by MOE on June 4, only students from the fourth and fifth forms are allowed to return to schools when they reopen,” PM mentioned. “Students will have to maintain social distancing, hand hygiene, cleanliness and sanitation, besides obtaining information regarding health and safety and using the MySejahtera mobile app.”
