Muhibbah Visit and Exploration to Strengthen Ties Between PBTs

The Ipoh City Council (MBI) Bikers Club participated in the Muhibbah Visit and Exploration programme to the states of East Coast today (August 12).

35 joined the programme, which consisted of MBI’s staff from multiple internal departments. 

The mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin and city secretary of MBI, Zuraina Kamarul Ariff graced the programme’s launch. 

According to a statement from the MBI, Rumaizi said that the convoy of three days and two nights to Kelantan includes a muhibbah visit to the state’s Kota Bahru City Council. 

“This will help reinforce cooperative ties, besides to share knowledge and experience between local authorities (PBT),” he added.

The MBI Bikers Club was formerly known as Enforce Bikers Club, before having its name changed this year to include all of MBI’s department. 

“I would like to commend the club for their organisation of this programme,” he enthused. “Hopefully, this programme will further strengthen friendships among participants besides upgrading MBI’s image between PBTs in Malaysia.”
