SLWOT Closes for a Fortnight Due to Possible COVID-19 Positive Visitor

Sunway Lost World of Tambun (SLWOT) announced its temporary closure under orders from the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia, after one of SLWOT’s visitors is believed to have contracted the COVID-19 virus infection.

According to a media statement, the closure, which includes SLWOT Hotel, comes into effect immediately today (October 13) lasting till October 26. 

The management of SLWOT will undergo cleaning and sanitation works on both the theme park and hotel in the midst of the closure. 

It is understood that MOH is performing close contact tracing on all possible individuals at the moment. 

SLWOT wishes for the public to remain calm and cooperate with MOH during this time.
