MBI Prihatin During Chinese New Year

Ipoh City Council (MBI) spreads the Chinese New Year joy via their MBI Prihatin (Cares) programme, where 45 Chinese Ipohites from Bercham, Kampung Simee and Pasir Pinji received RM12,000 worth of aid.

According to the Mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin, contributions under the programme will be ongoing to help the needy.

“The food boxes were contributed by MBI, Yayasan Perak, Menteri Besar Incorporated (MB Inc) and Lions Club,” he said in a media statement released earlier today (February 9).

Also present were city secretary, Zuraina Kamarul Ariff and city councillors, Dr Richard Ng and Albert Ho.

“I urge everyone to play their part in making Ipoh a prosperous city. Hopefully, the MBI Prihatin programme becomes a starting point in realising an Ipohite community that cares for the needy,” he expressed.
