Laman Manjoi Cuisine—A Paradise for Muslim-Chinese Dishes and Seafood Lovers

Do you want to diverge from your usual meals and try something new? Laman Manjoi Cuisine has the solution!

Customers who would like to enjoy a Muslim-Chinese menu and delicious seafood dishes may do so at the restaurant located at Gugusan Manjoi, which offers a peaceful and calming environment far from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The restaurant’s attractive interior decoration is sure to comfort customers whenever they dine-in.

According to proprietor of Laman Manjoi Cuisine, Malizan Zakaria, the restaurant, which was opened just last month, highlights a multitude of seafood selection provided live and fresh from the in-house aquariums.

He added, Muslim-Chinese dishes are also available for customers to enjoy.

“Some of the must-try Muslim-Chinese dishes are Daging Kam Heong (stir-fried beef), Ayam Kong Po (spicy stir-fried chicken), Sotong Harlock and Siew Pak Choy Sos Tiram (Chinese cabbage stir-fried with oyster sauce).

“For those who would like to give Shark Fin Soup a try, we have it at as low as RM12 for a small portion.

“We offer Muslim-Chinese dishes at small (S), medium (M) and large (L) portions, depending on customers’ request.

“Customers need not fret about the taste, as the cooking crew comprises chefs who used to work for prominent hotels,” mentioned Malizan, who’s also a former resort manager.

He said that seafood prices are based on current market prices.

“The price of seafood is calculated per 100g. For now, tilapia and patin (catfish) are receiving great responses.

“We will prepare the aforementioned seafood based on the customer’s selected cooking method available in the menu.

“Also, we offer shell out (eating food served open-concept on table) and steamboat at as low as RM15 per pax,” he said.

Malay cuisine lovers will also be tantalised by the traditional Perakean dishes offered by the restaurant, such as Ikan Tempoyak, Ikan Pais Daun Pisang, Gulai Lemak Keladi and Gulai Lemak Rebung, among many more.

Malizan further mentioned, customers may also enjoy affordable ice-blended beverages priced between RM4 to RM5, available in eight flavours.
