Breaking Fast with Orphans 

Digital Perak Corporation Holdings (Digital Perak) held a breaking of fast event for 40 orphans and underprivileged children yesterday (May 5) at MH Hotel.

Executive Councillor for Youth, Sports, Communication and Multimedia, Khairul Shahril Mohamed stated that the less fortunate are the responsibility of all in order to ensure that their welfare is constantly cared for.

“Orphans and underprivileged children are the less fortunate group who are always being celebrated especially in the month of Ramadan and the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

“Digital Perak’s effort in organising such a programme not only fulfills its corporate social responsibility, it provides joy and strengthens camaraderie among us.

“Congratulations and thank you for the support of deployment partners of the state in fulfilling their respective corporate social responsibility, thus making this event a success. It is hoped that such cooperation will be continued to aid the needy community,” he told the media after the presentation of duit raya and goodies to all the children during the event.

Present were the CEO of Digital Perak, Meor Rezal Fitri Dato’ Dr. Meor Redwan; Director of Perak Communications and Multimedia Commission (SKMM), Zairul Nahar  Zakaria and representatives of deployment partners.

The orphans were from Pertubuhan Rumah Anak Yatim Nurkasih Al-Harraz in Taman Lapangan Perdana and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Baitul Aini Anak-Anak Yatim dan Miskin Ipoh in Kuala Pari.

At the same event, Khairul Shahril also presented a token of appreciation to the media practitioners of the state. 

“I would also like to express my gratitude to the media practitioners who have provided plenty of coverage on programmes organised by Digital Perak,” he added.
