MB Inc Continues to Help B40 Groups

Menteri Besar Incorporated (MB Inc) continues its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program by contributing laptops to five additional students via the Ipoh Rotary Club.

According to a press release by MB Inc today (July 27), the CSR program focuses on the education sector and the world of learning in the new era which is in line with the industrial revolution 4.0.

The contribution was presented by the Pengkalan Baharu State Assemblyman (ADUN) cum Special Adviser to the Menteri Besar of Perak, Dato’ Abd Manaf Hashim in a ceremony at the Pengkalan Baharu DUN Service Center office recently.

Also present were the Assistant Governor of the Rotary Club of Malaysia, Kamarul Dato’ Mohamad Arif and Principal of SMK Changkat Beruas, Dr. Husaini Abdullah, as well as MB Inc representatives.

Throughout 2020, MB Inc has donated a total of 100 preloved laptops via the Ipoh Rotary Club to B40 target groups with the aim of facilitating digital access, especially during the Home-based Teaching and Learning (PdPR) online sessions. 

“MB Inc wants to bridge the learning gap of the underprivileged regardless of family background.

“This contribution will help with virtual learning and it is hoped that the students will be able to score excellent results in their next examinations.

“This CSR is based on three main focuses, namely social, education and environment which are drafted in line with the state government’s efforts for educational, economic and social development in Perak,” the statement said.
