Car Fire at Kampung Gajah, Three Victims Escaped Unharmed

A fire broke out in a car along a road leading from Jalan Changkat Lada to Pasir Salak earlier today (July 28).

According to a spokesperson for the Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), a call regarding the incident was received at around 7.50am.

“A squad and a vehicle from the Kampung Gajah Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) were immediately dispatched to the location.

“Upon arrival, the Perodua Kancil had already been severely damaged by the fire, having around 80 percent of the car structure destroyed.

“The driver and two passengers were unscathed, as they managed to escape before the squad’s arrival.

“The fire was extinguished using two hose reels and was brought under control by 9am,” the spokesperson explained.

The operation was led by Senior Fire Officer II (PBK II) Qyairul Eqwan Suib.
