According to him, the EMCO in Perak also includes the Horizon Construction Site in Kinta; Kampung Perlok Baru and Kampung Perlok in Mukim Sungkai, Batang Padang; and Batu Gajah Moral Rehabilitation Centre in Kinta.

Last Thursday, Hishammuddin announced that nine localities in five states including Perak were to go under EMCO from yesterday (August 6) till August 19 due to the rise in COVID-19 cases.

Aside from Kampung Menteri Kuala Sepetang, the other locations are two Comfort Rubber Glove factories and the Comfort Glove Factory Hostel in Larut Matang Selama and Kampung Belum Baru, Hulu Perak.

Kampung Kuala Menteri is also a famous food location in Matang district, including the Mak Jah Shrimp Noodle stall in Kuala Sepetang.

The stall, two kilometers away from the town of Kuala Sepetang, is located on the left side of the road. It is a must-visit spot for visitors to try their delicious noodles with large shrimps.
