I love Laksa and I lust after Lobak. I have finally found a lobak that satisfies my ultra critical palate without having to go all the way to Penang.
For me, Lobak must be infused with five spice powder, speckled with pork fat and wrapped in soft bean curd skin that can stand up to reheating, particularly in these Covid times when one has to “Tapau” or takeaway.
I have searched high and low for this dish in Ipoh and I was thrilled when I found it in a Laksa establishment!
