Ipoh-Langkawi Flights to Begin on September 17

AirAsia will begin round-trip flights: Ipoh-Langkawi Island; Langkawi-Ipoh three times a week following the reopening of the tourism bubble sector by Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister, Dato’ Seri Hajah Nancy Shukri recently.

According to a statement issued by the airline, the first flight will begin on September 17. Two more flights are scheduled for September 19 and 22.

“So far, there are no restrictions on domestic flights, however, the maximum capacity allowed is 180 passengers per flight.

“Passengers will board the Airbus A320 from Ipoh to Langkawi on 17 September at 1.40pm and arrive at Langkawi International Airport at 2.30pm.

“Members of the public can visit AirAsia’s official website to book their flight tickets. However, we cannot confirm the flight time after September 22 as it may be rescheduled according to current needs,” the statement mentioned.
