The Perak State Agricultural Development Corporation (PPPNP) in collaboration with the Ipoh City Council (MBI) and Perak Agriculture Department are organising the first ever Urban Farming Community 2021 competition as a form of appreciation for the community effort towards providing a healthy food source for the locals.
The programme, which has a concept of self-sustainment, can indirectly reduce cost of living and generate additional income when the extra produce is sold to the larger community.
Applications open beginning November 8 while the closing date is on November 29.
Open to the urban farming community in Ipoh, participation forms can be obtained from: www.pppnp.gov.my
