Booking of MBI Facilities Made Easy with EzBooking

The Ipoh City Council (MBI) aims to ease matters of facility bookings via the introduction of EzBooking to replace the previous system, eDewan.

The MBI facilities are namely the halls, fields and sports complexes.

The launch was completed by Ipoh Mayor, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin yesterday.

Present were Council Member, Councillor Datuk Mazlan Abdul Rahman; City Secretary, Councillor Ahmad Munir Ishak; senior directors and department heads of MBI.

According to Rumaizi, the system enables Ipohites to make payments online without the need to be present at any MBI counter when using the facilities.

He explained that users only need to register an account using their IC and key in information such as their house address, email and phone number before selecting the facilities provided by the council.

“This simple and easy-to-understand system is time-saving for users who wish to book the facilities and make advance payment.

“Besides that, users will also receive notifications via email after bookings and payments are made. The system also offers online application for deposit claims after using the MBI facilities.”

The MBI EzBooking application is able to increase the MBI service quality in line with the current technological needs in order to achieve the vision of a Digital Community by 2025.
